The beautiful hill-station of Amboli is rightly called the ‘Queen’ of Maharashtra' such of is its natural splendour. Day 01:Arrival at Pune airport or railway station to Amboli (346 km / 7 Hours)
After arrival at Pune airport or railway station proceed to Amboli which is located in Sindhudurg Distt. It is also known as beautiful hill station of Maharashtra.
Lunch Break
After reaching karad you may stop for lunch in Shivraj Dhaba which is on Pune Karad Highway. After Lunch continue your journey towards Amboli which is 187 km left from Karad. Day 02: City tour of Amboli
After breakfast visit some interesting places of Amboli which includes Hiranyakeshi Temple, Kawaleshet valley and Shirgaonkar point. After that you may have lunch at green valley restaurant later you will be taken towards some more famous attractions like Madhavgad Fort, Parikshit Point and Nangarta Falls. Parikshit Point: Parikshit Point, You can hike your way to this point through the thick canopy of Jambhool and Anjani trees, is the highest peak in Amboli. It is 2.5 km away from Hill station and it spread green view to enjoy.
Nangarta Falls: The Nangarta Falls is a narrow gorge on which the water falls from a height of 40ft. It is situated 10km away from Amboli. Water coming from mountains and fall for more than 50 feet down and best thing is that the gap between two mountains is less than 2 feet. If light pases through this gap it creates rainbows in gap. It makes great noise during the monsoons when the flow of water increases. The cascade has a view point and a bridge built very near to it for people to enjoy the scenery.
Day 03: Amboli to Tarkarli (80 km/3 Hours)
After breakfast proceed to Tarkarli which is 80km away from Amboli. Tarkarli is amongst the premiere destinations Located in Sindhudurg district bordering Goa. After reach check in to hotel and you may have lunch at same hotel later you will visit Sindhudurg Fort and enjoy your day here by performing scuba diving/ snorkeling and other water activity. After that you will visit Rock Garden and enjoy rocky shore of beach. By the evening return to hotel and overnight stay with dinner at Tarkarli hotel.
