UNESCO Awarded Great Himalayan National Park a World Heritage Status, The Great Himalayan National Park Conservation Area is located within Tirthan Valley ecoregion. The property also protects part of Conservation International’s Himalaya “biodiversity hot spot” and is part of the BirdLife International’s Western Himalaya Endemic Bird Area. The Great Himalayan National Park Conservation Area is home to 805 vascular plant species, 192 species of lichen, 12 species of liverworts and 25 species of mosses. How to Reach Raju Bharti’s Guest House
Situated only 2.5 kms from village Nagini & famous "Himalayan Trout House" Club house.From New-Delhi, you could board any bus which is headed to Manali and get down at Aut, which is about 100 kms before Manali. From Aut, you could take a bus to Banjar, and then hop on to a bus heading toward Gushaini. Alternatively, you could do a jeep ride from Aut to Gushaini.
If road journey is not your thing, then you could fly from New-Delhi to the Bhuntar Airport in Kullu. From the airport, you could hire a jeep to Gushaini.
Reach Gushaini Tirthan Valley By Air: The nearest airport is Kullu (Bhuntar), 60 km away. Regular flights are available from New Delhi to Kullu.

Great Himalayan national park visit ( UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE STATUS in 2014) :- You could also choose to do a day-hike to the Great Himalayan National Park’s entrance and come back. From Raju’s Guest House to the Park’ entrance is about 9kms and is a beautiful walk through the countryside.
Jeep ride to Jalori pass :- If you have some more time at your hand, you could hire a jeep and do a day trip to the beautiful Jalori Pass and Serolsar Lake and get back to Gushaini in the evening. The route from Gushaini to Jalori Pass passes through some wonderful scenery. On the other side of the Pass lies the village of Rampur, and farther ahead lies Shimla.

Places of Tourist Interest Around Gushaini Tirthan Valley
Great Himalayan National Park: Get the feel of a nature park by walking till the inner entrance and permissions are required for the entrance on daily basis.
Waterfalls: There are two lonely waterfalls around an hour walking distance with higher one being more than 50 feet high. Both of them are very shortly separated from each other and are on the same walking trail.
Jalori Pass : Jalori Pass, at an altitude of 3120 meters, is one of the steepest passes to drive in Himachal separating Kullu valley and Shimla Valley. You need to cover almost 2500 meters in less than 25 KMs to reach the top . You can have a meal at Shringi Vatika on the way back. Well this place is covered with snow from December end till March end.
Serloskar Lake: 5 KM from Jalori pass there is one lake which you can easily prefer to visit for a small trek.
Bachelo Pass: 15 KM en-rotue Bathaad, you can also visit this lonely pass that remains well covered with snow from December to February.
